Citizens for a Healthy Bay monitors and restores wildlife habitat in the Commencement Bay area of Tacoma.  Today we will be at our Yowkwala restoration site next to the Tyee Marina off Marine View Dr.  We will be doing an invasive species removal.  Non-native plants often become invasive and restrict access of native plants to nutrients, light and space to grow.  They must be constantly controlled.  We need volunteers to help us remove invasive plants to our own native species will be able to flourish.  If you are interested in helping the environment and benefiting wildlife habitat please join us today.  A light lunch will be provided.

This event is suitable for older kids and adults.
