Citizens For A Healthy Bay actively monitors and restors wildlife habitat in the Commencement Bay area of Tacoma.  On Dec. 15th we will be at our Middle Waterway site just across the 11th street bridge from downtown Tacoma.  We need volunteers to assist with planting native plants and mulching the site to prevent weed and invasive plant growth.  If you are interested in helping the environment and enjoy working out of doors please join us for what will be a great day.  A light lunch will be provided.

Some very physical labor will be required to spread the mulch and is best suited to older kids and adults.  However, the planting may be done by all ages.
