Protect
Up one levelEnhance protection on 1,000 miles of shoreline.
Consider an egg, small, blue and speckled. Its shell plays a critical role. Essentially the same role shorelines play for Puget Sound. Break the shorelines and the Sound’s a goner. Along with our quality of life and that of thousands of other species, Mud Monster included. That’s why MudUp was created—to protect and restore Puget Sound shorelines, with policy leadership and on-the-ground muddiness. The goal: Protect 1,000 miles of Puget Sound shoreline by June 2009.
Check out the MudUp calendar below to find all sorts restoration activities. Anyone can participate. Sign up with a friend or bring the family, either way it’ll be splat-out fun. It’s time to get dirty for the Sound. So consider yourself mudded.
