Washington State's largest sand sculpting festival and a chance to help design the new Hands-On Children's Museum!
Join EarthShare Day in the Park and Help Remove Ivy at Richmond Beach in Shoreline!
Join the Cascade Land Conservancy and the City of Shoreline to help remove invasive species from the Richmond Beach property, located just north of the entrance to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park. Restoration work on this property will help to restore the water quality of Puget Sound!
Golden Gardens Park Restoration
The health of Golden Garden’s urban forest is in danger due to non-native invasive plant species such as English ivy, Himalayan blackberry and garlic mustard. We will remove ivy and other invasive plants that are detrimental to the native habitat. Other possible activities include spreading woodchips and planting native trees to restore the native tree canopy.
