Hiking and Swimming on Whidbey Island

Ryan Hale

My name is Ryan Hale and I've lived in Seattle all of my 13 years. The place I like best in Puget Sound is Whidbey Island-- it's close to Seattle and it has nice beaches and very fun hikes to go on. Swimming is my favorite thing to do in Puget Sound. I care about the Sound, so when I'm walking along and if I see a piece of trash, I'll pick it up and throw it away. I plant native plants and remove invasive species from my garden and at Discovery Park when I volunteer there.
